Welcome to ChristmasChange, a collaborative community of individuals who are daring to be the change they want to see in our culture. We are a community who seeks to explore the magical redemption of the season by buying less for ourselves and giving gifts that matter to those in need. Our genesis comes with the season of Advent, when hearts dance with expectation, anticipation, joy and hope. But this is only the beginning.
Weary of the frantically-paced, budget-busting, excessive consumerism of Christmas, we’re idealistic enough to believe we can return meaning to the season and the coming new year. Imagine a culture that is more concerned about giving and ministering to those living in the margins than satisfying its own indulgences. The cry of a world in need has been drowned out by a culture of want, not because we don’t care but because it’s too easy to turn the channel forget.

Through ChristmasChange we will explore a community's capacity for change--not just for a holiday, but in the days and years following that holiday. We want to live the paradox of purchasing less but giving more. We accept the challenge of returning depth and meaning to Christmas, and life!
